yumm

i'm making dinner and i am totally bummed because i am craving broccoli but we are out. i have this strange addiction to it. i can't explain it. so i am heating up some left over pasta. what a let down after the anticipation of the delicous green goodness that is broccoli.

on a happier note...i'm really excited because i will soon be joining the digital age. we are only a few years behind everone else. i will soon be getting my first digital camera!!! this way i will be able to take pictures and put them on my blog and my myspace that i never use.

you will also notice that i am not using capital letters. it's really annoying but neccessary because i spilled pop on the keyboard and the shift key is stuck. well there is another shift key but i can't use the one on the right side of the keyboard. it's like a mental block. ok, my pasta is done.

Good Times

Well, we had a really nice weekend with Sara, John and Malachi. Friday night we made fried chicken and mashed potatoes. It was tasty. Never thought I'd say that. I'm not a big fan of fried chicken but there it is. Maybe I am being converted. Or maybe it tasted better because it has been so long since I've had it. Anyway...mom was pretty wiped out so she went to bed and Sara, John and I went downstairs to watch a few episodes of Scrubs. Aaron and Abbie have been telling mom and I to watch that show for a few years but we feel like we watch enough TV as it is. However, I have to admit I found the show to be very funny. John and Sara caught me up on important background information and so I was able to fully enjoy it!

Saturday we made a yummy breakfast of french toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. It was delicious. Then we sort of did Easter with Malachi. We didn't do Easter eggs but we had a bucket filled with toys and a Bubble Mower. I hope it will be something he enjoys playing with in good weather. He seems to really like bubbles! In the afternoon we went to Mark and Patty's and the whole family was there. A few of Sara and John's friends showed up as well so we had a good crowd. Dad and Cindy couldn't make it because they were sick. It's too bad but we all appreciated not being exposed to whatever they have.

Well Malachi is getting to be so big now and it seems the potty training is going well. I am going to Dallas next month so I will get to hang out with them again! I'm really excited.

Well that's all for now. Until next time! Whenever that will be..
